Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diagnose a fusion trouble of a strong current relay securely in a simple method.
SOLUTION: In this electric vehicle, the power of a battery 1 is fed to an inverter main circuit 6 through a main relay 2 and an inverter relay 4. When a voltage higher than a specific voltage is detected at a DC ring between the main relay 2 and the inverter relay 4, when the main relay 2 and the inverter relay 4 are OFF, in this electric automobile, it is diagnosed the main relay 2 or the inverter relay 4 generates a fusion trouble. Consequently, the trouble of the main relay 2 and the inverter relay 4 can be diagnosed securely, in a simple method without adding a special apparatus.
