PURPOSE: To reduce required labor and capital to be charged, and to reduce required space by disposing a first and a second sheet members of rectangular form on a press to partly overlap with each other having an angle to each other, and closing the press in this condition.
CONSTITUTION: First sheet members 41, 42, and second sheet members 43, 44, having longitudinal axes 50, and reinforcement members 45, 46 are placed on a lower die. The sheets 41, 42 are in parallel to and apart from each other, and the sheets 43, 44 are also in parallel to and apart from each other. The axis 50 of the sheets 41, 42 has an angle to the axis 50 of the sheets 43, 44, that is, they are placed to cross each other. One end of the sheet 41 is partly overlapped with the sheet 43, the other end of the sheet 41 is partly overlapped with the sheet 44, the reinforcement member 45 is placed at a lower end of an end of the sheet 43, and the reinforcement member 46 is placed at a lower end of an end of the sheet 44. In this condition, an upper die 18 is lowered to close a press 14, so the sheets 41-44 and the reinforcement members 45, 46 are formed as an assembly, while simultaneously punch lock is conducted.
