Abstract:
To provide a structural veneer laminate material by new constitution capable of using as a structural material, and to provide a method for production thereof.SOLUTION: A structural veneer laminate material is produced by laminating plural veneers 11, 12 being sheet stocks via an adhesive 13. The veneer 11 of a low-density tree kind having an air-dried density of less than 0.5, and the veneer 12 of a high-density tree kind having the air-dried density of 0.5 or higher are used as plural veneers. The structural veneer laminate material comprises the upper and lower surface layers 21 arranged on the surface sides of the laminate material and an interlayer 22 disposed between the surface layers 12. A compact structural veneer laminate material 2 is obtained by compressing the laminate material in a thickness direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
