Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the waterproof property of the generator by protrusively forming a tubular body toward the upper section of a casing and shaping an air intake port by the upper opening end of the tubular body and a cover body surrounding a circumferential wall. CONSTITUTION:A through-hole 3c is bored to the wall of the approximately central upper section of a casing proper 3a', and the air intake port 4 is mounted to the hole. The intake port 4 is formed by the tubular body 4a, to which a flange 4e is integrally shaped, and the cuppy cover body 4b, which is concentrically set up through a supporting member while covering the tubular body and has a cylindrical circumferential wall 4b' with an inside diameter larger than the outside diameter of the tubular body 4a. The cover body 4b surrounds the upper opening end 4a' of the tubular body 4a and the circumferential wall 4a'', and an air intake path 4c, which is downwardly opened extending over a section between the bottom wall of the cover body and the opening end 4a' of the tubular body 4a and a section between a skirt section circumferential wall 4b' and the tubular circumferential wall 4a'' and communicates atmospheric air with the opening end 4a', is molded. Accordingly, the waterproof property of the generator can be improved.
