Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simply position and temporarily fix a top shelf at the side of a cabinet and to readily assemble it without need of-labor of a man.
CONSTITUTION: An end of each of connecting plates 3 is previously fixed to the upper surface of a top shelf 2 and dowels 5 are provided in a cabinet 1. A top shelf 2 is provided at the side of the cabinet 1 and the dowel 5 is fitted to a slit 4 formed at the other end of each of the connecting plates 3. Thus, the top shelf 2 is precisely positioned and temporarily fixed to the cabinet 1. In this state, the side plate 1a of the cabinet 1 is connected and completely fixed to the side plate 2a of the top shelf 2 by means of connecting screws.
