Title:
STRUCTURE OF BIODEGRADABLE CINERARY URN TO BE HOUSED IN GRAVESTONE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001224640
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a cinerary urn to be housed in a gravestone, which comprises a container type synthetic resin molded body equipped with biodegradability, and in which ashes are housed.

By using a synthetic resin having biodegradability and molding property, the container type synthetic resin molded body is molded by an injection molding or the like to constitute this biodegradable cinerary urn. Also, on the outer peripheral surface of the molded body, a decorative emblem such as a figure or a pattern for a family emblem is displayed by using a transfer foil to constitute the cinerary urn. In addition, the cinerary urn is combined with a tray body to be mounted made of a microbe carrier chip. By this constitution, by the effect of the microbe, the molded body is biodegraded, and the cinerary urn returns to the earth when housed in a gravestone in a cemetery, and does not become an objective for a disposal process. Also, the housing space for a cinerary urn can be ensured for many generations, and the cinerary urn can correspond with the shortage of a graveyard, especially in urban areas.
