PURPOSE: To construct a blast furnace bottom of strong, durable and free from the danger due to cooling water leakage by the process; in which the bottom is made a double structure of isolating partition and bottom plate, and furnace inner pressure is supported with the bottom plate, and refractory material containing cooling pipe is laid between the partition and the bottom plate and suction pipe is set under the partition.
