Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an extensible and contractible structure body which can be used as the leg body of a walking type shifting device.
CONSTITUTION: An extensible and contractible structure body 11 is constituted by coaxially installing a first and a second member 12 and 13 each of which has a cylindrical shape. At the edge part of the first member 12, three roller members 141-143 are installed outwardly, and each roller installed at the top edge part is press-attached on the inner peripheral surface of the second member 13. Each roller member 141-143 is constituted of a spring member whose one edge is installation-fixed at the edge part of the first member 12, and the roller which is installed in a rotatable manner at the top edge of the spring member, and the spring member is set so as to deflect in the axis line direction of the first member 12, and the roller is brought into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the second member 13, in inclination for the axis line, and the tilt angle θ is varied according to the deflection quantity of the spring member. Then, the first member 12 is revolution-driven.
