Abstract:

PURPOSE: To decrease the number of parts and to reduce the manufacturing cost by using the material by which FRP can be bonded for sealing a stern tube and configuring the plate of the piercing part to be a streamline.

CONSTITUTION: The stern tube 7 is pierced through a hull plate 1. A bonding agent 8 is filled and a reinforcing material 9 such as plywood and the like is applied. Then, the stern tube 7 is bonded to the hull plate 1 by sealing material 10 of FRP. A bearing 71 is fixed by a screw 72. Since the stern tube is made of material which can be bonded, the number of parts to be used for mounting can be decreased, and the hull plate can be configured to be a streamline.
