To prevent the bottom surface of a scraper for scraping and conveying granular metals sunk onto the bottom plate of a water tank from being partially worn and enhance the conveying efficiency of the granular metals.
In this structure of a bottom plate liner of a water sealed metal conveyor 1, a molten metal drawn from a melting furnace is crushed by water from a water granulation nozzle fitted to the water tank 2. The granular metals sunk in the water tank 2 are scraped by a scraper 4 sliding on the bottom plate liner installed on the bottom plate 2a of the water tank 2 and conveyed. The structure of the bottom plate liner comprises a straight or zigzag main bottom plate liner 5 disposed on the bottom plate 2a of the water tank 2 along the metal conveying direction and brought into contact with a part of the bottom surface of the scraper 4 and auxiliary bottom plate liners 6 fitted to the main bottom plate liner 5 in a branched shape and brought into contact with the bottom surface portions of the scraper 4 other than those in contact with the main bottom plate liner 5. The entire bottom surface of the scraper 4 is slid while coming into contact with the main bottom plate liner 5 and the auxiliary bottom plate liners 6.
