Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a building for which measures are taken against explosion, such as a battery factory in which explosion accidents may occur, the structure minimizing damage by diffusing the pressure of blasts and enabling the building to be easily restored after the explosion.
SOLUTION: A building 1 is provided with a door 5 which opens and closes to a door frame 3 via hinges 4, and which opens to the outside of an exterior wall 2. A flush bolt 1 2 having a rod 11 which is free to project to a strike 10 provided at the upper part 3a or lower part 3b of the door frame 3 is provided at the free end 5a of the door 5, and a fragile part 13 which breaks when exerted with a predetermined pressure produced by explosion is formed in the rod 11.
