Title:
STRUCTURE OF BUTT END PART OF CLAMP SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3694412
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent magnetic cores from being exposed from the contact surfaces of the butt end parts of a one-side sensor part and the other-side sensor constituting a clamp sensor.
SOLUTION: A clamp sensor 12 is formed by separately housing current sensors 23 and 33 formed of magnetic cores 24 and 34 in a one-side core cover 22 and the other-side core cover 32 and pivoting a one-side sensor part 20 and the other-side sensor part 30 with butt end parts which comes into contact with each other when closed to an instrument main body 13 in such a way as to be freely opened and closed. In the clamp sensor 12, the butt end part of the one-side sensor part 20 is formed by shielding the tip surface 24a of the magnetic core 24 and providing a one-side contact part 25 incorporated with the one-side core cover 22, and the butt end part of the other-side sensor part 30 is formed by shielding the tip surface 34a of the magnetic core 34 at which a magnetoelectronic device 38 is sandwiched and providing the other-side contact part 35 incorporated with the other-side core cover 32.
