Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent self-excited oscillation of blades without providing a damping member, facilitate manufacturing and assembling, and prevent generation of partial stress by forming a cascade of blades while embedding a group of the blades around a rotor with groups having quite different characteristic oscillation numbers being arranged adjacently. CONSTITUTION:In a cascade of blades an axial flow turbo machine having a cascade of blades formed by embedding a plurality of blades 6 around a rotor 7, the blades 6 are classified into some groups according to their characteristics oscillation numbers, while the groups of blades 6 are embedded around the rotor 7 with groups having quite different characteristic oscillation numbers being arranged adjacently. That is, a group 1 of the blades 6 is embedded adjacently to a group (n) having a quite different characteristic oscillation number therefrom. Further, the group (n) of the blades 6 is embedded adjacently to a group 2 having a quite different characteristic oscillation number therefrom. Self-excited oscillation is therefore prevented without providing a damping member on the cascades embedded around the rotor 7.
