PURPOSE: To make it possible to surely fasten nuts by fixing pipe metal fittings forming female screws on the inside circumferential surface to flanges of a column, and screwing through-bolts into the pipe metal fittings to insert them between the flanges.
CONSTITUTION: Sprit T metal fittings 3 joined to up and down flanges of steel framed beams 2 are made to abut on flanges 1a of a column 1 of a square steel pipe, and through-bolts 4 are penetrated between the sprit T metal fittings 3 to fasten. Bolt insertion holes 1b for the through-bolts 4 formed in the flanges 1a of the column 1 are so bored that each diameter of the insertion holes is larger than that of each of the bolts 4, and cylindrical pipe metal fittings 6 having female screws formed on the inside circumferential surface of them are inserted into the insertion holes to join them to the column 1 as a unit. According to the constitution, nuts 5 can be surely fastened without giving any deformation.
