Title:
STRUCTURE FOR CONNECTING AUXILIARY TOP PLATE BETWEEN TABLES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009022687
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a structure for connecting an auxiliary top plate between tables, which is capable of firmly connecting the two tables with a simple configuration at a low cost.

The tables include: slide arm parts to be attached onto the rear surfaces of the top plates of the tables; support parts for enabling the slide arm parts to be drawn outward of the top plates or to be stored on the rear surfaces of the top plates; an auxiliary top plate; engagement parts to be attached to one end of the rear surface of the auxiliary top plate; and at least a pair of lock mechanisms to be attached to the other end of the rear surface of the auxiliary top plate. When the two tables are arranged to make the slide arm parts of the tables face each other, the slide arm parts are drawn to be mutually close to each other. The engagement parts are engaged with one ends of the drawn slide arm parts, and then, the other ends of the slide arm parts are locked by the lock mechanisms. The auxiliary top plate is fixed between the two tables.
