To provide a connection structure of a cable rack that can absorb expansion of the cable rack at a connection portion using a simple constitution, can execute works easily and surely, when achieving the connection structure capable of absorbing the expansion, can connect both the cable racks firmly via a connection fixture for dispensing with a support member at the connection portion, and does not require use of earth bonding wire for reducing costs and simplifies the execution of the works.
The longitudinal ends of both the cable racks 4 come into contact with both the sides of a positioning projection 3 of the connection fixture 1. Bolts 7 are penetrated into holes 5, 6 provided in both the cable racks 4 and connection sections 2 at both the sides of the connection fixture 1, while the ends of both the cable racks 4 are brought into close contact with the connecting sections 2 at both the sides of the connection fixture 1 for tightening by nuts 8. In the bolts 7 on both the sides for connecting both the table racks 4 to the connection sections 2 at both the sides, one or both of the hole 5 of the cable racks 4 and the hole 6 of the connection sections 2, where the bolt 7 at least at one side penetrates, become a long hole 9 in the longitudinal direction of the cable racks 4. When the cable racks 4 are expanded, the ends of the cable racks 4 go over a positioning position by the positioning projection 3 and become movable in the longitudinal direction of the cable racks 4.
