PURPOSE: To obtain the structure for connecting a terminal to a wire, which can position a wire at a predetermined position so as to surely connect it to a terminal and with which the connecting work can be automated.
CONSTITUTION: A molding board 12, in which terminals 10 are embedded, is formed with terminal exposed parts 16. Each terminal exposed part 16 and a connection part 22A of each wire 20, which is crushed flat, correspond to each other, and respectively formed into the nearly square shape from a point of plane view. At the time of connecting the wire 20, the connection part 22A is guided for positioning by side walls 16A, 16B of the terminal exposed part 16, and held temporarily, and the connection part 22A is resistance-welded to the terminal 10 for connection. Consequently, the wire 20 is positioned securely, set, connected, and furthermore, setting and the welding work after the setting can be automated.
