Title:
STRUCTURE FOR CONNECTING TURBING ROTOR BLADES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5614803
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a high vibration attenuating effect, by connecting adjacent cascades having a plurality of rotor blades connected at their tops by a shroud with each other by use of a connecting member capable of absorbing thermal expansion of the shroud. CONSTITUTION:Turbine rotor blades 1 have at their tops shroud 2 and fixed thereto immovably by tenons 3. A plurality of these rotor blades 1 fixed to the shroud 2 constitute a cascade. Here, adjacent two shrouds 2 are coupled with each othr at their end portions 4, 4' by use of a connecting member 5. That is, adjacent two shrouds 2, 2 are coupled with each other by forming slits 6, 6' at end portions 4, 4' of respective shrouds, inserting projections 7, 7' of connecting member 5 into the slits 6, 6', and then caulking the end portions of projections 7, 7'. The connecting member 5 is imparted with resiliency by forming a substantially U-shaped curved portion 9 so as to absorb thermal expansion of shroud 2.
