PURPOSE: To form good paved face on the subgrade of various materials and various shapes by a method in which the uneven surface of the subgrade is made even by an elastic base plate and paved with an elastic paving material.
CONSTITUTION: An elastic base plate 1 formed by hardening synthetic resin or fiber by a binder is placed on the subgrade 10 to form an even face by absorbing uneven surfaces 10A and 10B. In case where the degree of the uneven surfaces 10A and 10B is great, a several number of the plates 1 are laminated to correct the uneven surfaces in order to make the upside of the uppermost plate 1 even. Also, when the subgrade 10 is uneven and the upside of the uppermost plate 1 is sloped, the thickness or placing position of the plate 1 is adjusted. Elastic pavement material 2 is then placed on the even upside of the plate 1 to form a paved face. Good paved face without uneven or void portion can thus be formed regardless of the material and shape of the subgrade 10.
