Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to finely adjust the position of a support plate and prevent the support plate from acting unevenly in order to improve the amenity of a seating person.
CONSTITUTION: A support plate 14 is attached to a couple of right and left support arms 12L, 12R held at the base end by support shafts 16L, 16R. The support arm 12L is constituted so as to prevent from swinging against the corresponding base bracket 18L by means of a locking mechanism 58 composed of the gear 54 of the support arm 12L and the gear 56 of a lock plate.
