CONSTITUTION: The outer skin layer 28 of the curved part 18 of the endoscope 10 is coated with a metallic protective net 30. The above-mentioned protective net 30 comes into contact with a tracker 38 in this way even if the curved part 18 curves and comes into contact with the tracker 38 at the time of removing the endoscope 10 and, therefore, the damage of the outer skin layer 28 is prevented. Then, the infiltration of the bodily fluid, etc., into the curved part 18 is surely prevented.
