Abstract:
PURPOSE: To effectively utilize lubricating oil, to improve workability, further to avoid increasing a number of part items, and in addition to improve rigidity of a cam shaft housing while preventing air, generated in an oil passage, from being supplied to a part necessary for lubrication, in a structure for a cylinder head of an engine.
CONSTITUTION: An oil reserve chamber 42, connected to a head oil passage 68, is provided in a cam shaft housing, and through paths 44, 46 are provided, with one end sides thereof communicating with an upper location 42a of the oil reserve chamber 42, and by connecting the other end sides of the through paths 44, 46 to cam journals 38, 40 of the cam shaft housing.
