PURPOSE: To obtain an anchor having a large tension resistant force, by a method wherein, in an anchor, for use with an orchard rack and the like, a resistance plate, spreading underground at a driving time, is attached to a base body integrally united with a drawing-up rod, and the work is driven underground by means of a driving pipe.

CONSTITUTION: For installation of the device, a base body A is coupled to resistance plate B through the insertion of a drawing-up rod 8 into a rib 11 of the plate B, and the integral work is fitted outside of a driving pipe 15 into which a core 19, having a recess 20, is inserted. After the end of the pipe 15 is brought into close contact with a support plate 5, the upper end of the pipe 15 is struck to drive the whole pipe into the ground. When a ring part at the upper end of the drawing-up rod 8 reaches a ground surface, striking is stopped temporarily. After the pipe 5 is pulled off until the forward end reaches a slope surface 2, a control rod is inserted into said ring part. A rod hammer is then inserted into the pipe 15, and after the resistance plate B is spread together with rotating plates 7, 7 through the striking of the core 19 with the hammer, the pipe 15 is pulled out to complete a work.
