PURPOSE: To provide a structure of fixing a bumper side to a body which enables the side part of a bumper body to be fixed easily to a fender panel.

CONSTITUTION: A fitting plate part 18a almost horizontal toward the inside of a body is formed at the upper edge of the side part 18 of a bumper body. A reinforcing bracket 19 is disposed in close contact at the lower face of the fitting plate part 18a, and a fixed plate part 14b to be brought into close contact with the upper face of the fitting plate part 18a is integrally formed at the lower part of a fender panel 14. Flanges 14d, 18c, 19c vertical in the plate face with fixing holes 14c, 18b, 19b formed to coincide with one another at the time of being overlapped are protrusively formed at the fixed plate part 14b, fitting plate part 18a and the bracket 19 respectively. The fixed plate part 14b, the fitting plate part 18a and the bracket 19 are superposed while making the flanges 14d, 18c, 19c oppose to one another so that the fixing holes 14c, 18b, 19b coincide with one another, and then a bolt 20 is inserted into the fixing hole 14c, 18b, 19b to fasten the flanges 14d, 18c, 19c integrally.
