To provide a structure for heat exchange with underground that can improve the heat exchange efficiency with the underground and appropriately and easily install a heat exchanger inside a steel pipe pile.
The heat exchanger 2 stored inside the steel pipe pile 1 driven into the underground 5 is formed by winding a heat exchange tube in a coil shape, and is stored inside the steel pipe pile 1 so that the coil axial direction is turned to the vertical direction. A heat exchange tube section 4a on the lower end side of the coil-like heat exchange tube 4 is extended upwards toward the ground through the inside surrounded with the heat exchange tube coil 7. The heat exchange tube coil 7 is molded by winding the heat exchange tube on the outer periphery of a coil molding pipe 8 having a spiral trough 8a in its outer periphery. Preferably, the heat exchange tube coil 7 is stored inside the steel pipe pile 1 together with the coil molding pipe 8.
