Abstract:

To provide a structure for holding a clearance between a head lamp for an automobile and a fender capable of improving beauty of the appearance for a section (joint) in which the head lamp comes into contact with the fender.

This structure for holding the clearance between the head lamp for the automobile and the fender for holding a clearance between a side end part of a lens of the head lamp and a front end of the fender is provided with a bracket having such structure that an upper part plate forming a guide hole and a lower part plate forming a mounting hole are integrally formed. The lower part plate adheres closely to a lower end surface on a front side of the fender adhering closely to a rear end upper face of a bumper cover. The lower part plate of the bracket, the bumper cover, and the fender are together fixed by bolting passing through the mounting hole in the lower part plate. A guide boss formed on a rear face of a lamp housing frame is inserted through the guide hole in the upper part plate.
