Title:
Structure of an internal-combustion engine
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6185383
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which assembly stress becomes large when assembling an exhaust gas recirculation device.SOLUTION: In an internal combustion engine equipped with an exhaust gas recirculation device (EGR device 2), a portion between an exhaust gas recirculation valve (EGR valve 23) and an intake manifold 34 out of an exhaust gas recirculation passage (EGR passage) is made to be an exhaust distribution passage 24 for branching toward a downstream sequentially and distributing an exhaust gas (EGR gas) to each cylinder, and a portion from a connection flange 24a1, which is a connection portion between the exhaust distribution passage 24 and the EGR valve 23, to a branch place of an uppermost stream is made to be a low rigidity part 24a2 in which rigidity is lower than other portions in the exhaust distribution passage 24.
