Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint connected between a conduit line and a meter.SOLUTION: Structure of a joint including a first connection member 1 and a second connection member 2 is provided. The first connection member 1 has a head section 11 and a body section 12 which are connected to each other, a storage chamber 13 extended up to the body section is formed in the head section, a valve member 3 is stored in the storage chamber, and a screw thread portion 131 is formed in the storage chamber to connect an external member to the head section, and a first passage 14 communicated to the storage chamber is formed in the body section. The second connection member has a sleeve 21 and a connection section 22 to be connected to an external pipe body, a hollow chamber 23 is formed in the sleeve, a second passage 24 pierced up the hollow chamber is formed in the connection section, the sleeve is over-coated to an outer periphery of the body section of the first connection member and can be rotated around the body section, and a leak prevention member 25 for closing the hollow chamber is formed between the sleeve and the body section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
