PURPOSE: To provide a structure for making a backlight-equipped push button, etc., luminous, by which the push button can be visually recognized even in a dark place when electric power is not supplied thereto.

CONSTITUTION: A translucent push button 12 and a luminous portion 13 such as LED are provided on a base 11. A cover 14 and a light transmitting portion 16, both of which have respective attaching holes 14a, 16a for the push button 12, are laid one over the other. A light storage portion 15 for luminous paint or the like is provided on the peripheral edge of the attaching hole 14a of the cover 14. The light storage portion 15 is illuminated by light LD radiated from a light emitting device and external light LS such as sunlight, so as to store those light. The push button is illuminated from all directions by this storage of light when electric power is not supplied thereto.
