Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a sanitary water supplying system having a small amount of transfer of odor in a water supplying device of a refrigerator having an automatic ice making machine.

CONSTITUTION: A positive volumetric type pump (a geared pump) 5 is installed above a water tank 4 for storing water. A suction pipe 6 is mounted in the tank 4. A discharging pipe 7 is arranged near an ice making pan 3. An inner diameter of the discharging pipe 7 near its discharging end is larger than an inner diameter of the discharging pipe 7 and the discharging end is tapered and at the same time the suction pipe 6 is composed of a flexible hose.
