Abstract:
To provide an ash feeding structure of a melting furnace, which can prevent stopping of operation due to clogging with coarse particles in ashes and can continuously and stably feed ashes into the melting furnace.
The structure and method for feeding ashes into a melting furnace employ a screw-conveyer system, which is reduced in screw diameter continuously or step-by-step toward the interior of the melting furnace from an ash feeding section to an ash charging section, or enlarged in diameter of a casing covering the screw continuously or step-by-step.
