To reliably fix a sleeve in both directions in the shaft direction by a simple means by fixing a plate and one side surface of a wall by a swelling part brought about by a sphere having a diameter larger than a sleeve hole in which its opposite side surface is pressed from the opposite side end of a flange of the sleeve by the flange of the sleeve.
A sleeve is inserted into an opening of a plate 5 until a flange 2 collides with a left side surface of the plate 5, and is supported by a proper method. A sphere 9 having a diameter larger than a diameter of a hole in a range of an end part of the sleeve is pressed in a hole of the sleeve from the opposite side end of the flange 2 of the sleeve by a punch 8, and an outside diameter of the sleeve is diametrically expanded thereby. The sphere 9 is deeply pressed in a right side surface 10 on the opposite side of a left side surface of the plate 5 as a swelling part 11 to fix the sleeve to the plate 5 by pressing the plate 5 against the flange 2 is generated. As a result, the sleeve having the flange 2 can be fixed to the opening of the plate 5.
