Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain skew adjustment with a simple operation by mounting a sensor frame with an image forming lens and an image sensor mounted thereupon to a main body frame freely turnably around a turning shaft in parallel with the optical axis of the lens. CONSTITUTION:When a carrier is moved and one and other positions of a read start side frame ridge 23 of an original platen 21 are read via an image forming lens 4 of a sensor frame 1 and an image sensor 2, a skew delta is measured automatically from a difference of read values (a) and (b). When a knob 11 of a main body frame 6 is turned in response to the measured quantity, an eccentric cam 7 is turned by a lever 14 or the like offering lever action and the frame 1 is rocked around a turning shaft 5 in parallel with the optical axis of the lens 4. Plural adjustment screws including fine adjustment screws are not required.
