Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for treating the terminal of shielding wire, which can reduce the number of caulking times by concurrently performing caulking for preventing the occurrence of axial shifting in a shielding wire and caulking for grounding and, at the same time, to simplify the structure by reducing the number of parts.
SOLUTION: The end section of an insulating sheath 5 of a shielding wire 1 composed of a core 2, an inner insulating film 3 covering the core 2, braided wires 4 arranged around the film 3, and an insulating sheath 5 covering the braided wires 4 and the braided wires 4 exposed from the end section of the sheath 5 are covered with an annular shield stopper 11 in a state, where the stopper 11 is put on them and the caulking ring section 19 of a shield terminal 12 is inserted between the braided wires 4 and inner insulating film 2. The caulked section 28 of the sheath 5 and a caulked section 29 of the braided wires 4 are simultaneously formed at the same time caulking the shield stopper 11.
