PURPOSE: To eliminate the space section joining an inlet port for improving space efficiency by opening the inlet port of an air cleaner case facing toward the space section surrounded by the rear end section of a tank and the front end section of a seat and forming a luggage storage box between the rear section of the air cleaner case and the front section of a rear fender.

CONSTITUTION: A tank 22 and a seat 24 are continuously provided on the top of a body frame 21 of in the center section of the body of a motorcycle, and an air cleaner case 44 and a battery 46 are arranged between an engine and a rear fender 18 below the tank 22 and the seat 24. The inlet port 44a of the air cleaner case 44 is opened facing toward the space section 48 formed between the rear end section of the tank 22 and the front end section 24a of the seat 24. A storage box 52 is formed between the rear section 44c of the air cleaner case 44 and the front section of the rear fender 18, and a battery holder 56 in which a battery 46 is contained is also arranged below this storage box 52.
