Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount an edge protection material on a glass panel of a partition device in a manner which allows the material to be easily installed and removed.
SOLUTION: An edge protection material 7 is substantially U-shaped on cross-sectional view wherein one end of a front piece 8 is connected to one end of a back piece 9, and a through hole 16 is bored in the back piece 9. The edge of a glass panel G is inserted between the front piece 8 and the back piece 9 and a locking hole 6 is bored in the part of the glass panel G aligned with the through hole 16. A locking member 21 is inserted into the through hole 16 and the locking hole 6. The back piece 9 is provided with locking members 15, 16 for preventing the locking member 21 inserted in the locking hole 16 and the through hole 6 from slip off out of the locking hole 16 and the through hole 6.
