PURPOSE: To hold the insert nut temporarily and enable ensured connection of the insert nut by forming vertical ribs on the internal walls of a polygonal hole for mounting the insert nut, which are spaced from the edges of the hole by short distances.
CONSTITUTION: A boss 8 has a hexagonal hole 11. Ribs 12 are arranged in perpendicular direction on three internal walls of the hole 11. The ends of the ribs 12 are separated from the edges of the hole 11 by short distances. The insert nut 9 to be mounted in the hole 11 is of a hexagonal shape which can be pressed into the hole 11 and connected therewith by an adhesive 13. To mount the insert nut 10 to the hole 11, the first step is to attach the adhesive 13 on the internal walls of the hole 11, then the insert nut 10 is inserted into the hole 11. It is possible to insert the insert nut 10 up to the portion of the hole 11 without ribs, and hold them temporarily under such conditions. Then the insert nut 10 is pressed under such conditions.
