Title:
STRUCTURE FOR PLACING OF CONCRETE AND CONSTRUCTING METHOD OF WALL-SHAPED STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08260453
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To inhibit an adverse effect generated by the interruption of the flow of groundwater by a wall-shaped structure formed by continuously connecting sheet piles, etc., and driving them into the ground.

CONSTITUTION: Permeable layers 12 penetrated from one side face to the other side face is formed in a concrete sheet pile 10. The permeable layer 12 consists of water permeable concrete. When the concrete sheet piles 10 are driven into the ground in a row to construct a wall-shaped structure, the wall-shaped structure has a large number of the permeable layers 12. Consequently, even when the wall-shaped structure is built so as to interrupt the flow of groundwater, groundwater can pass through the permeable layers. Accordingly, the wall- shaped structure does not interrupt the flow of groundwater and does not increase groundwater pressure and a groundwater level. When a liquefying phenomenon is generated on one side face side of the wall-shaped structure, pore water is drained to the other side face side by the permeable layers 12, thus inhibiting the effect of liquefaction.
