Title:
STRUCTURE FOR PREVENTING ENCLOSURE FROM MAKING SOUND
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH09184257
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent the sounding phenomenon of an enclosure, such as a wall or a roof made of folded-plate type building boards, that is caused by thermal expansion due to temperature differences, by wrapping and fastening the adjacent building boards together, with a nonmetallic soft material between them.

A lower enclosure B constituting a two-layered enclosure comprises building boards B1, B1 whose lower 13a and upper 13b wrapping sections are connected together by wrapping and fastening, and an upper enclosure A is supported by a support C comprising a lower support C1 and an upper support C2. The upper enclosure A has a strip of nonmetallic soft material 5 mounted between the lower 3 and upper 4 wrapping sections of the adjacent building boards A1, A1. Therefore, the adjacent building boards A1, A1 of the upper enclosure A are kept out of direct contact with each other, eliminating or reducing sounds caused by a sounding phenomenon that may occur if the building boards A1, A1 undergo thermal expansion and rub against each other.
