To provide structure of preventing the nut of a drive shaft from falling off which can easily assemble without increasing the number of component and simultaneously can easily prevent the nut from falling off.
The structure prevents the nut from falling off which fixes shaft end of the drive shaft inserted into the drive shaft assembled hole of a hub suspended on side of a vehicle body. The structure provides an insertion hole 8 capable of inserting the nut 3 on outside opening end of the drive shaft assembled hole 7 of the hub 2, provides a protrusion radially protruding on inner peripheral surface of the insertion hole 8 and outside surface of the nut 3, and simultaneously provides a means which makes it possible to pass through the protrusion when putting the nut 3 into the insertion hole 8 and which hooks end face of the nut 3 when the nut 3 shifts in direction being removed from the shaft end 1a of the drive shaft 1.
