To provide a motor in which braking force can be generated for input of external force with a simple structure and which can be miniaturized.
Auxiliary magnets 7 are disposed in permanent magnets 6 surrounding a rotator 5 so that they are arranged in an axial direction. A main core part 5a and an auxiliary core part 5b, which have axial direction lengths, which correspond to the axial direction lengths, are disposed by leaving a gap G so as to obtain a core. Although magnetic flux becoming magnetic coupling force for cogging torque is caused between the auxiliary magnet and the auxiliary core part in a suspension state of the motor, extension of magnetic flux is prevented by the gap. Consequently, braking force is generated for input of external force with the simple structure where the auxiliary magnet is arranged, and leakage magnetic flux is not generated. Thus, the auxiliary magnet can be miniaturized and the motor can be miniaturized.
