Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain high output by means of a simple device by rotating a cylinder main body through utilizing reaction of the explosive power generated at one end (inner end) of the cylinder main body with a slender and spiral or swirly passage. CONSTITUTION:An inlet port 2, equipped with the openings of a combustion injection port 5 and a compressed air injection port 6, is provided on one end (inner end) of a spiral (or swirly) rotor blade cylinder 1 (1') and, combustion and explosion are generated in said inlet port 2. Then, the explosive air is discharged to a discharge port 3 through the inside of the rotor blade cylinder 1 (1'), and during this discharge, the cylinder is put in rotation by itself by means of a component of the pressure of the explosive air directed in the direction of a tangent over the whole internal face of said cylinder 1. Efficient output is thus obtained by a comparatively small and simple device.
