Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure which eliminates the influence of a flow on a foundation structure in the ground and which can also be applied to an existing foundation structure.
SOLUTION: In a structure for protecting, from a flow A, a foundation structure 14 provided in the ground 12, which ground tends to flow from upstream side to downstream side, there are provided two diversion walls 16 and two side walls 18. The walls 16 are located upstream of the structure 14 so as to extend outwardly, like an unfolded fan, from the upstream side to the downstream side, in plan view, and supported by a bearing layer in the ground. Each of the walls 18 extends to the downstream side from the downstream end of the diversion wall 16 along the structure 14 so as to be supported by the bearing layer in the ground.
