To provide a reduction gear with improved power transmission efficiency capable of avoiding a backlash and deterioration in the meshing rate at a meshing part of a flex ring and an internal tooth gear by preventing an occurrence of "play" upon meshing due to oscillation of an input shaft or insufficient rigidity of a housing.
In the reduction gear, rotation of the input shaft is decelerated and transmitted to an output shaft by pressing a plurality of rollers to a flex ring deformable in the radial direction and meshing external teeth of the flex ring while deforming the flex ring with internal teeth of the housing. The output shaft 2 connected to the outer periphery of a roller 7 and the flex ring 4 is provided with a hollow part punched to the inside of an output bearing supporting the output shaft to the output side housing. An extended shaft part formed by extending an output shaft side end part of the input shaft 1 to the inside of the hollow part is provided. A shaft end part of the extended shaft part is supported relatively rotatably to the output shaft by an end part bearing installed at an inside position of the output shaft bearing of the hollow part.
