To provide ridge tiles which are formed by stacking a plurality of plain ridge tiles in multiple layers and by extending them in a trough shape, and to prevent the plain ridge tiles comprising the ridge tiles from being displaced toward the inside of the ridge tiles when the plain ridge tiles are struck by an earthquake or strong wind.

The ridge tiles are formed by stacking a plurality of plain ridge tiles in up-and-down layers, and by extending the plain ridge tiles in a trough shape at the top of the tile roof. Then displacement-deterrence hardware 40, which deters the upper and lower stage plain ridge tiles 22, 21 from being displaced in the inner side direction of the plain ridge tiles, is incorporated into the ridge tiles. Then the deterrence hardware is manufactured by the bending or the notching of an elastic metal sheet. Then one end part 41 of the deterrence hardware is engaged/fixed in a position tilting toward the inner side end surface at the midsection of the plain ridge tile in the lower stage, but the other end part 42 is brought into contact with the inner side end surface at the same time at the end part of the plain ridge tile in the upper stage of the two which are roofed adjacent to each other.
