PURPOSE: To set at above the waist line of a door a position at which to fix a sash to a frame by means of a screw so as to shorten the length of the free portion of the sash and secure the mounting strength of the sash by fixing the mounting face portion of a sash vertical-side portion directly to the frame by means of a screw, and covering the screw with glass lining.
CONSTITUTION: A sash 70 has an opening 70b formed through that side of a vertical side portion 70a where a window panel is vertically moved, and has its cross section formed into the shape of C. The mounting face portion 70c of the vertical side portion 70a which extends along the longitudinal direction of a vehicle is fixed by a bolt 77 to a bracket 76 serving as a frame. Glass lining 69 is mounted on the opening 70b side portion of the vertical side portion 70a and the bolt 77 is covered with the glass lining 69. Then the appearance of the sash 70 will not be damaged even if a position at which to fix the sash 70 to the frame by means of the bolt 77, etc., is located above the waist line of a door; as the position at which the sash 70 is fixed by the bolt to the frame is located above the waist line, the strength of the sash 70 can be secured accordingly.
