Abstract:
To provide a structure of a seaweed bed using a concrete structure installed in the river or sea for protecting a seaweed fed provided in a portion of a bank, a bridge pier or a wave absorbing block that is installed under water from sedimentation of soil and insect damage by herbivorous fish.
This structure is formed by a concrete structure 2 installed under water, a net-like structure 3 having a net-like body 4 mounted at a suitable distance on the outer face of the concrete structure 2 by a support member 3a, and an artificial water plant 6 formed by plural elongated ribbon-like leaf- like bodies 7 and fitted to net wires 5 of the net-like structure 3.
