To provide a structure for securely tightening a rope end in which the rope having a large extension of elongation is mounted on a cylindrical metal pipe, and a method for securely tightening by which a flexible rope having large energy absorption at breakage can be obtained.
The first is the structure for securely tightening a high-elongation rope, wherein the rope end is housed from the front end of the metal pipe. Furthermore, the diameter of the front end of the metal pipe is reduced into a small diameter by regulating the taper angle to 8 degrees or below (8-4 degrees) on one side. The inside diameter of the front end has a diameter slightly larger than the vicinity of the outside diameter of the rope design fracture. The rope end is impregnated with a curing resin or a viscoelastic gap filler, and filled between the rope end and the metal pipe.
