To provide a structure of a shock absorber mounting part for a vehicle managing with less increase in the weight, constructed simply, and having a high rigidity.
The structure of the shock absorber mounting part is configured so that the top of a shock absorber 6 is coupled with a wheel house inner 2, and a plate-form reinforcement 4 and a backing strap 5 smaller than the reinforcement 4 are piled on the undersurface of the inner 2, in which only the reinforcement 4 and the backing strap 5 are spot welded in the shock absorber mounting surface part 20 assuming approximately a horizontal plane, while the inner 2 likely to generate a crack in the welded part when an impact load is applied is left out of welding, and the inner 2 and the reinforcement 4 are spot welded in horizontal plane parts 24a and 24b one step lower located around the mounting surface part 20, and in the vertical plane parts 211 and 212 around the mounting surface part 20, the inner 2 and the reinforcement 4 are spot welded and also the reinforcement 4 and the backing strap 5 are spot welded.
