Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a sliding door for a vehicle capable of forming the front door of the sliding door having the approximately same size as that of the conventional hinge door and being opened and closed by sliding it in the longitudinal direction.
SOLUTION: Both the top and the bottom of the sliding door 1 are connected to sliding rails 10 and 11 in a slidable manner. The sliding rails 10 and 11 are connected to inside and outside rails 21 and 25 of a forward and backward movement means 20 provided on the top and the bottom of an opening 3, both of the inside and outside rails 21 and 25 are movable in the direction Y of the inside and outside of the body to an upper bracket 22 and a lower bracket 27 fixed on the body side. Accordingly, the sliding rails 10 and 11 are moved to the inside and outside of the body together with the sliding door 1, and as shown in B, when it is pushed out to the outside, it is slidable in the longitudinal direction.
